Howard Stern may leave with Karmazin

Tuesday, June 01, 2004

NEW YORK, NY -- With a year and a half left on his contract, Howard Stern says he's ready to leave, especially if Infinity honcho Mel Karmazin exits.

"I am so done with this situation," Stern told listeners. "It's ridiculous. I want out, I want to go work for another medium where I can talk and not worry if Slash says the F-word. I want that, I crave it now. I want out of this."

Stern's syndicated morning show airs on 95X (WAQX) in Syracuse.
