Tuesday, February 05, 2002

Following the terrorist attacks of September 11, all three central New York public radio outlets saw increases in the size of their listening audiences for the Fall 2001 Arbitron ratings period.

WRVO FM 90 remained in the lead with 4.2 rating, up from a 3.4. WCNY FM 91.3 gained nearly a point at 2.5, while WAER FM 88 was up a full point at 2.0. The ratings reflect percentage of listeners 12 years of age and older in all time periods.
