Monday, May 10, 2004

SAN ANTONIO, TX -- One of the hot issues discussed at a recent two-day meeting of 250 Clear Channel Communications program directors was the amount of commercials and "clutter" airing on the group's radio stations.

Clear Channel president John Hogan says changes are in the works. According to Hogan, the company will "demonstrably reduce the amount of commercial interruptions on our stations."

The complete text of Hogan's statement to Clear Channel clients is posted online.
